This is honestly officially my favourite hair butter. It smells delicious and melts sooo perfectly into my hair. The ingredients are so so incredible. It’s worth the money I promise you get one!!!
I have short, frizzy 4a mixed porosity hair that has been absolutely obliterated by chemical treatments which is worsened by the dry air of my home. So far so good with this hair butter! It looks like it would be hard but it's very soft and fluffy and melts into a silky oily texture. I start off with damp hair (you can use water for this but I spray aunt jackie's silkening hair milk into my hair), then I'll apply some curl activator then apply the shea butter throughout my hair, then seal it with Olaplex bonding oil. If it's night time I'll slap a durag on otherwise I'll just leave my hair out. It's helped restore my curl pattern and hold onto moisture better but I still have a long way to go because I bleach and tone my hair every month. Usually when I mess up my hair I just shave it off and start again lmaooo but introducing this hair butter into my routine has allowed me to maintain it without too much hassle. Hopefully with more regular use my hair becomes less dry and frizzy and more defined! Please protect your hair if you're chemically treating it and invest in products that work for you, not against you!
Such a creamy consistency that melts down into an oil texture which i use to maintain my curls as well as moisturise my scalp/edges. I use after using a leave in conditioner to seal in the moisture and i prefer this over any other gel/hair oil i’ve used
